_Q: Who attends the KMF Songwriter Conference?
A: Young and Old, Beginner and Expert, Everyone In-Between, and Musicians of All Genres! Our attendees cover a vast range of genres and experience and travel here from all over the world. No matter where you stand as a songwriter, there is room for every type of individual at the Kaua'i Music Festival. Our attendees have ranged from thirteen to eighty-two. We have people attend who are just beginning their career or hobby as a songwriter and want to learn about the entire songwriting business. On the other hand, we have other attendees who are very accomplished and are looking for expert advice and guidance that only the best in the business can provide. The genres of our attendees' music spans rock, pop, R&B, country, and urban to contemporary Hawaiian and everything in between. We also have attendees who only write lyrics and others who only compose music. Many collaborations have resulted from new friendships made at the KMF!
